Blue House Hostel, Quito, Ecuador

This backpacker-orientated hostel is located in the middle of the Mariscal District, just 2 blocks away from Plaza Foch, the centre of the Mariscal area with all restaurants and bars. The Blue House offers all facilities a backpacker is looking for and has great communal areas for hanging out, varying from a livingroom with couches and a fireplace, a tv-room and a garden with a BBQ.

The friendly owners - Ecuadorian couple Nicolás Cervantes and Rosy Pozo, started this hostel in August 2008. Both owners have been working in the tourism industry for many years in Quito and have expanded their experience in the hostel business by studying and working in hostels in Argentina. After 5 years in Buenos Aires, they decided to use their experience to set-up a quaint Ecuadorian hostel in their home town of Quito.
