In 2007, Bradd Ferraris and Carol Delonis took over management of the tour operator Boquete Mountain Safari Tours, that has been existing since 2002. Their objective is to offer ecologically friendly tours to explore Boquete and the nearby area. Hiking, horseback riding and coffee tours are all part of enjoying Boquete's impressive natural surroundings.
Boquete Mountain Safari Tours aim to offer tours in small groups (a third of their tours are joined by no more than 2 persons). Their 5 brightly painted 4x4 jeeps (their "yellow monsters") assure that tour groups do not get oversized. To make the most of your time in Boquete and enjoy all Boquete has to offer, various half day and full day combination tours are offered.
Try the delicious homemade snacks (e.g. cakes and cookies) included in all tours, made by Carol herself!
All the guides come from the Boquete region and have excellent knowledge on flora and wildlife. Tours are taken in English or Spanish. Italian and German tours are available on request.
The company´s office is located in the restaurant next to the gas station, 2 blocks south of the main square (along the road to David). The office is open from 7am - 5pm.
