Danish-Colombian run, Casa Blanca hostel was opened in 2008 and offers a range of facilities to make any backpacker feel right at home.
Cas Blanca provides a comfortable and relaxed base from which to explore Cali and the surroundings.
Casa Blanca has 3 standard double rooms and 1 standard twin room for 35,000 Pesos. Two luxury rooms with air-conditioning, a twin and a double, are availabe for 45,000 Pesos. The luxury twin can also be used as a triple as there is also a sofa bed in the room. There are two dorm rooms, one with 6 beds and one with 10 beds wich cost 15,000 Pesos per person.
There is a sociable lounge area with a 42 inch flat screen TV to watch cable TV or DVDs with the other travellers staying in the hostel.
There is an internet service with several computers available and wireless access for those travelling with laptops.
Snacks and drinks are available for sale from the reception as well as local handicrafts and a self catering kitchen and dining area is available for guest use.
Outside the front of the hostel there is a seating area where guests can watch the world go by whilst sipping a cool cerveza. Parking is available out front for those travelling by car, motorbike or bicycle.
A laundry service is also availble through the hostel.
For those wishing to do a bit of a workout during their time in Cali, the hostel has organised some great discounts with a local gym that's just one block from the hostel.
A range of services such as photocopying, CD burning and photo printing are available through the hostel.
The easiest way to reach Casa Blanca is by taxi which should cost no more than 4,000 Pesos from the bus terminal.
