Circus Hostel is a custom built designer hostel which opened its doors in mid 2009. The owners have travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and Central America, taking note of the finest elements of the best hostels and have combined them to create what is now the Circus Hostel.
Once you step through the front door you could be mistaken for thinking it was a boutique hotel with its clean lines and designer decor, yet it also contains the social ambience and facilities that you would expect from a hostel. With attention to detail and a great central location in San Telmo, Circus Hostel is a hot contender for your stay in Buenos Aires.
Stepping in at street level you will find all your comforts of TV/DVD lounge area, heated pool and terrace, pool table, internet stations, WiFi, tourist information and daily itineraries. There is also a restaraunt/bar and luggage storage (not to mention a climbing wall on the cards!)
The staff at reception are around 24 hours a day and are more than willing to help with any of your questions.
The hostel is also very involved in the local arts community. The lobby area regularly plays host to a number of works of local artists, changing regularly and also available for purchase. Thursday through to Sunday sees a local act play in the bar area and nightly dinners and parilla´s are also organised. Wednesday and Sunday nights also sees the introduction of the cinema debate nights themed around differing international cinema works.
