Tours

Coca Travels arranges trips to Cholitas Wrestling , a very funny and truly unforgettable experience that shouldn't be missed if you are in La Paz on a Sunday afternoon. You'll have the chance to see several ´fights´ including Bolivian lady wrestlers wearing big frilly skirts! The wrestling alone is great entertainment and due to an incredibly passionate local crowd the atmosphere is fantastic - just make sure you watch out for the flying oranges, bananas and biscuits thrown at the less popular wrestlers!

The price of 80 Bolivianos includes transport, entrance, ring side Seats, snacks, souvenir and facilitator/guide. The trip (which needs to be arranged in advance) leaves at 4pm from Coca travels office via mini bus. On the way to the wrestling you stop at a great view point of La Paz for photos, before reaching the Ceja arena, El Alto City. During one of the intervals the guide will take you to on a short walk through El Alto City to visit the Che Guevara monument.

In addition to the wrestling tour, Coca Travels also offer a number of other tours including 2 and 3 day tours to the Salt flats of Uyuni, Copacabana and Lake Titicaca, Mountain biking down the World's Most Dangerous Road, Potosi mine tours, Valley of the Moon, Rurrenbaque and many more.

Equipment rental, Spanish classes, CD burning, Maps and a guidebooks exchange are also available direct from the agency office as well as flight, bus and train tickets.
