This friendly family run posada is located on a 2 hectare farm on the edge of Sogamoso on the Iraka “great light on earth” valley. This beautiful historic house and farm is the perfect place for relaxing and exploring the spectacular surrounding region.

Here the family wellcomes travellers under the philosophy of 'mi casa es su casa' (my home is your home).

The farm is at 2569mts above sea level, with an average temperature of 15•c.

The posada offers a range of accommodation options from hammocks, and camping to dormitories, private rooms (with bathroom) and a fully self contained cottage. All prices include a delicious and healthy breakfast.

Finca San Pedro offers all of the services and facilities a travellers expects, a self catering kitchen, hot water showers, plenty of comfortable social areas, hammocks to relax in, gardens to enjoy and friendly dogs to play with.

A laundry service can be arranged and several activities and therapies can be organised including Sauna, massage, yoga, dance and several other therapies. It´s best to email prior to arrival to ensure availability in some of these services.

There is a lounge with Satelite TV and DVDs and there is free internet and WiFi on offer.

Other additional facilities include security boxes, drinking water, and a book exchange and library.

The family are happy to help with information and coordination of tours and activities including visits to local villages, horse riding and thermal pools as well as other attractions.

How 2 get there...

Once in Sogamoso, a taxi from the bus terminal will cost around $3,500, or the local bus heading to Aquitania runs straight past the finca, keep a look out for the finca´s white archway. Otherwise you can also mail or call and we will try to pick you up from the bus terminal.
