Geo Hostel is the trend setting hostel with a contemporary look. The hostel was built from the bottom up and began to provide an excellent product for its guests in March of 2010.
A few blocks away from the well known Parque Lleras, this hostel has 3 floors with a beautiful view of the valley from the terrace which has a 6 person jacuzzi. Geo Hostel`s goal is to not just make your trip a good experience, but an unforgettable experience by helping provide you with the information you will need while exploring the area.
Geo Hostel was inspired by the owner's bicycle trip through South America. The aim is to provide you with the comfort backpackers crave but don't typically expect when traveling on a budget. Geo Hostel has extremely hospitable staff who offer you the top notch service you would expect from a more luxurious hotel, not a hostel.
Geo Hostel has a total of 8 rooms (5 dorm rooms and 3 private rooms) each with stylish private bathrooms, hot showers and a hair dryer. The rates for an 8 person dorm room is 25,000 Pesos per person. The rates for a double is 80,000 Peso with a maximum of 2 people per room. The rate for the twin room that can accommodate 3 people (a maximum of 4 by adding a bunk bed - inform staff upon reservation) is 90,000 Pesos. For those who enjoy video games, this hostel might be a dangerous place for you to stay as you struggle to chose from the box filled with a multitude of video games for its PlayStation 2 on its 42 inch LCD TV. They also have a large selection of channels to pick from on the cable television once you are exhausted from the finger exercises playing video games.
The Bilingual Staff working at the reception desk is there 24 hours a day and offers services such as assisting you in getting tickets to local events, helping orientate you the area and provides luggage storage at no cost for its guests.
You can also buy presents for friends and family at their gift shop and use Geo Hostel´s mail service without having to leave the hostel.
There is a laundry service that costs 10,000 Pesos per load. For those who prefer to wash your clothes by hand, there is an area with a special sink to assist you.
