In 2005 current owner/manager David Fuhman took over this beautifully located hostel. Together with next door Hostal Sueños del rio, which is also owned by the US citizen, it´s Boquete´s only hostel at the riverside.
Hostal Boquete, together with the annex "Sueños del Rio" next door, offer a total of 13 private rooms for 2-4 persons (either a queen-sized bed or a queen-sized bed plus one or two single beds). Some rooms offer river view and have a private balcony. There is also a 4-bed dorm.
All private rooms have cable tv, free WIFI and an en-suite bathroom with hot water, and cost US$30 - US$33 in low season and US$33 - US$38 in high season (high season runs from early November to the end of June). The dorm has a private bathroom and costs US$10 / US$12 per bed in low/high season. The dorm and some of the rooms also share a private kitchen with one other room.

A computer with internet and skype is available for US$1 per person per day. In the lobby you can buy souvenirs, drinks and little snacks, borrow DVDs, exchange books and store your valuables in the safe. The reception is open from 7am to 8pm and the staff speaks both English and Spanish.
Laundry service is offered for $4 per machine load.
Next to the communal kitchen there is a patio with tables to enjoy your self cooked meals and the outside hammocks along the river are great for relaxing! An on-site restaurant will be opened soon.
