Hostel Nomba, Boquete, Panama

Hostel Nomba is the twin sister of La Jungla in Panama city and the home of the Mirador Adventures tour agency. Located in the centre of Boquete, Nomba provides a great base for exploring Panama´s Chiriqui Highlands. The hostel is small and cosy and consists of two separate bungalows.

Plenty of information about the surrounding area is available and Colorado born Ryan Brandt offers regular excursions and activities for guests and visitors alike. For the more adventurous backpackers, there is a wide selection of equipment available from bikes to rafts.

Facilities...

There are 4 dorm rooms in the front main building and 3 privates rooms in the second cabin, with 2 extra bunks in the lounge area. The dorms are priced from $9 to $11 and the private rooms from $15 to $25. The cabin can be hired as a whole for around $70. Booking in advance is recommended.

Use of laundry facilities is available for $2.50 per load. High speed Wi-Fi is free and accessible throughout the hostel.

The hostel has a small bar with an honesty policy and cocktails can be mixed on request.

Finally Nomba provides a luggage storage facility for those planning on exploring the area, as well as safety deposits in the office, all free of charge.

How 2 get there...

Hostel Nomba is located in the centre of Boquete and is easy to find from where the bus from David City drops off passengers by the main square. Walk uphill you reach the Mandarin supermarket. From here take a left and then a right at the next junction. About 25 metres along on the right-hand side you will find the hostel.
