Open since 2005, Hotel de la Fuente offers pleasant, comfortable rooms removed from the sometimes oppressive heat of the street. A variety of complimentary amenities and friendly and helpful staff make it a popular choice among visitors to Orange Walk.
Owners Cyndi and Orlando de la Fuente are more than happy to offer advice on local sights and budget-friendly restaurants. They also encourage energy conservation by giving guests the option to forgo daily sheet changes and by offering discounts to guests willing to use a fan instead of the air conditioner.
Planned development of riverside property to house a restaurant, cabañas, and possibly a second hotel will offer more choice to travelers in the near future. A shuttle service will link the two properties.
