Outside the noise of Orange Walk’s town centre, but still well within walking distance of all amenities, Lucia’s Guest House is owned by Osiris, Izma, and Isis Rodriguez and managed by their family. Rooms are basic but clean, and are one of few options for travelers on a tight budget. .

There are 21 clean and simple rooms, all of which are double occupancy (one double bed) with fan and television. Rooms with shared bath cost $20 Bz and up, and those with private bath cost $35 Bz. Prices do not include tax.

Rooms with private bath offer good value, and have optional air conditioning. Hot water is available by request. There is also an outdoor pool with snack bar. Towels can be provided at an additional cost.

Buses arriving from Belize City will drop you on Queen Victoria Ave (also referred to as Belize-Corozal Rd) in the centre of town. If you’re coming from Sarteneja, walk two blocks west from the bus stop to Queen Victoria Ave. From there, walk to the fire station and turn onto San Antonio Rd. The guest house is a few minutes’ walk from the centre, on the left-hand side.
