El Marques has 18 ensuite rooms accommodating between 2 and 4 people each with cable TV and hot water showers.Prices are $10 per person (based on two people sharing) and $12 for a room with single occupancy.
An extensive DVD and Video collection is available and these are available throughout the day for viewing in the spacious TV lounge.
The back garden of the hostel is rich in plants and the hammock and seating area makes a tranquil reading area.
A handy laundry service is also available at a cost of $1 per kilo.
A self-catering kitchen is also available for guest use.
The roof terrace provides spectacular panoramic views of the Cascada de la Virgin and the surrounding countryside.
The hostel is also very well connected with local tour agencies and are able to give advice and information on local attractions and activities.

How 2 get there...
El Marques Posada is right next to the Thermal baths Agua Santa de La Virgin and the waterfall that comes splashing down right next to it - this is your best landmark for finding the hostel. Coming from the bus station its around a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi to reach the hostel. Walking, take Calle Maldonado for six blocks, passing through the centre of town until you hit Montalvo. Turn left and continue six blocks towards the waterfall. A block before you reach the waterfall, turn right onto Pasaje V. Ibarra where you'll see the hostel a few buildings down on the right.
