Motolombia is a new motorcycle tour and rental business run by Danish owner Mike Thomsen. Mike has travelled to 69 countries, most of them by motorbike and is now offering travellers the chance to experience this alternative perspective for travel in Colombia!

This is a great way to combine getting off the beaten track with the adrenaline rush of off road travel. Cali lends itself very well to the activity with excellent dirt trails and spectacular city views even on shorter tours.

Tour Options

Beginner Tour

50,000 Pesos

This is a short, scenic, non-technical 45 minute round-trip on the slopes of the 'Valle de Cauca'. Perfect for beginners to get a taste of the thrill of riding and offering beautiful views of Cali. If the client has no prior riding experience with a foot gearshift and hand clutch, the time will be spent learning how to ride. This is ideal before going on a longer tour.

Las Tres Cruces
100,000 Pesos

This is a fast, fun and very scenic, 2 hour tour to Las Tres Cruces high above Cali on a mountain top. Offering a beautiful view of the city and valley, this is semi-technical riding, with steep passages and tight curves. Depending on the rider's level of experience, there are routes of varying difficulty.

Las Tres Cruces, La Paz, La Elvira, Mi Universo - 18 Km tour
200,000 Pesos

This is a demanding 4 hour tour covering several valleys to the west of Cali. Offering spectacular scenery, tight curves, steep muddy passages, small river crossings, dense forest, mountain tracks, coal mines, small rural villages, haciendas and an optional 1,5 km canopy ride is possible halfway. Prior riding experience required.

Full day tour
300,000 Pesos

Different options for full day tours are available depending on the clients riding skills and preferences. One option is going to El Paraiso a beautiful hacienda famous for the love story "La Maria". The tour can include an optional paragliding ride. In this case, you will ride off road up to the take-off site and fly back down to the valley with an experienced paragliding instructor to continue riding for the rest of the day.

Motorbike rental
From 200,000 Pesos per day

This option is purely bike rental, not guiding. It gives people the chance to explore the area independently. Bike available are:
Kawasaki KLR 650 (200,000 Pesos per day) and Aprilia ETV 1000 (300,000 Per day)
Discounts are available for week-long rental and the security deposit depends on the rider's licience, experience and the model of bike.
