Situated in the beautifully colourful Casco Historico, this posada offers great value accommodation with the relaxed and welcoming feel of a home stay. Doña Carol herself welcomes guests to her comfortable colonial-style home with clean, cozy rooms and delicious home cooked meals.

There are 5 rooms available- 3 of which have air conditioning and the remaining 2 are fan-cooled ranging in price from 40,000 - 70,000 Bolivares per room.

A quick and handy laundry service is available for 4000 Bolivares per kilo.

Meals are available on request and are excellent quality, home-cooked dishes. Breakfasts costs an extra 5000 Bolivares and dinner is a very reasonable 12,000.

Doña Carol is happy for travellers to use the kitchen for those who prefer to self-cater.

Tours can be booked directly through Posada Doña Carol and she offers packages to Canaima (3 days 3 nights including one night at this Posada) for 710,000 Bolivares. Luggage can be safely stored whilst you are away.

From Plaza Bolivar in the centre of Casco Historico, follow 'Calle Bolivar' for two blocks past the cathedral then turn left onto 'Calle Libertad'. You'll see the sign above the door.
