This friendly, new hostel is the perfect base for getting off the beaten track and exploring Tolú!
German/Colombian couple Jeorg and Alex began creating their dream home in 2004 using their own designs and artistic flare. Now that the project is nearing completion, they invite travellers to share their home and appreciate the magnificent surroundings of this beautiful and relatively unvisited Caribbean coastal town.
With all the facilities a backpacker could ask for as well as an excellent restaurant and hammock strewn TV hut, Villa Babilla is sure to become a real travellers favourite in the coming years!
All five rooms are beautifully designed and each is unique and with it's own individual Villa Babilla character!
There are excellent self-catering facilities for those who prefer to cook their own meals and a great restaurant menu for those who dont. Villa Babilla specialises in Thai and Italian cuisine.
There's a shaded social area with Satellite TV, comfy lounge chairs and colourful hammocks.
There's a handy laundry service for just 2,500 Pesos per kilo.
Free coffee is available to all guests.
As Tolú is litte more than sea-side village, your best bet is just to walk the few blocks from the bus station. Head out staight accross the square from the station and join Carerra 4 on your right. Continue in the same direction along here until you meet Calle 20. About a block towards the beach you'll see Villa Babilla on the left.
