West End Divers is a professional diving operation right on the waterfront in West End. You`ll easily recognize the big outfit whilst strolling through the town`s main street. The young and enthusiastic crowd always present around the school gives it a very nice atmosphere.
The school is managed by Cassondra and Mel and safety is high on their priority list. Before going on deeper or more complicated dives, they`ll make sure to check your dive history and/or take you on an easier dive first. This is no hardship though as all Roatan dive sites are beautiful. They focus on small groups of max. 6 persons.
Roatan offers a wide range of different dive sites; from healthy coral reefs, to wrecks and caves to explore. The reef in front of the island is part of the second largest reef in the world.
West End Divers currently has 3 dive instructors, who have been instructing on the island for at least a year, a full time dive master and always a few dive master trainees. There are 4 fast boats and well maintained equipment.
The dive centre is very socially and environmentally aware and proudly supports the "Sandy Bay - West End Marine Park" and the "SOL International Foundation", which initiates and supports community-based programs on the island.
