Zona De Vuelo is a professional Paragliding company based about 45 minutes out of Medelllin in a beautiful area near the village of San Felix run by Jaime Gomez and his wife Clemencia. This is a unique experience offering magnificent views over the city.
With qualified instructors, they offer both taster flights in tandem and also courses to become a qualified solo paraglider. Jaime has over 12 years experience paragliding and opened Zona de Vuelo over 9 years ago.

Tandem Flight

This is an amazing experience for those who have never been paragliding before! Experience 360' view of Medellin and the surrounding landscape. All flights are taken in tandem with a qualified instructor and last around 25 minutes.
Solo Flights
70,000 Pesos
This option is only available to those who are already certified to fly solo. This gives you access to some of the area's finest scenery from Zona De Vuelos flight base for a full day.
Courses
1,500,000 Pesos
This course allows you to learn the technique and thoery needed to fly solo. It takes from 15 days to complete the course depending on weather conditions and the individual's ability.

Certification
50,000 Pesos
To become certified by the FAI (Federation Aeronautics International) which allows you a years licience to fly solo anywhere in the world, you simply need to register with the association for a further 50,000 Pesos.

How 2 get there...
From the northern bus station in Medellin - (metro stop Caribe), take a bus for San Felix from stance 17. These buses leave every 20 minutes and take around 45 minutes. Tell the driver you are going to do 'Parapente' and he will drop you off at the Zona de Vuelo office.
