Zuly's backpackers is one of the most popular places to stay amongst travellers in Panama city and for good reason. The hostel aims to offer all the facilities a backpacker needs to feel at home and plenty of local information to make the most of the city and the rest of the country. All this while keeping prices reasonable and standards high.
The team at Zuly's also provide lots of informaion about visiting the San Blas Islands where you can stay with an indigenous Kuna family as a stop en route to Colombia. They aim to find the best prices for their guests on good boats with reliable crew.
With lots of information and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, Zuly's is a good base in Panama city and a great jumping off point for exploring further afield.
The hostel has a selection of rooms including dorms ranging in size from 4-6 beds. Dorm beds cost $9 per person but if two people share one of the double beds the cost is only $7 per person.
There are also 6 private rooms with shared bathrooms and fan that sleep between 1 -4 people. All bed linen is included in the price. Cost for a private room is $12.50 per person
A fully equipped kitchen is available for guest use well as a cosy common room with it's very own balcony where guests can help themselves to the free coffee!
Free car and motorbike parking is available for those travelling with a vehicle.

Zuly's is located right at the end of the dead-end street and opposite the Costa Azul restaurant.
Travellers should be aware that taxi drivers recieve commission from other hotels so may try to take backpackers somewhere else or discourage them from staying at Zuly's.
